I’m Amy

I’ve worked in the fashion & e-commerce industries for about 15 years, with some of the best brands and technologies in the world.

Sure, “best” can mean something different to each person.

I’ve worked for many visionary brands, and one of the leaders in e-commerce technology - Salesforce Commerce Cloud - so I think you’ll find something in my experience that interests you.

You can see some examples below.

It’s true that I’ve worked with a lot of luxury brands - and that is a particular passion of mine - but I believe that you don’t have to be a luxury brand to give your customers a luxury experience. To me, luxury is about excellence, attention to detail, and creating the right solution for your particular need.

Regardless of what you sell, you can offer that.

I started Lux Commerce to help you bring this into your business - to find the right technology, strategy and ideas not only for your customers, but also for your team and your company.

  • My deepest experience is in fashion. I started out dressing models at London Fashion Week in 2009 and worked my way to brands like Anya Hindmarch, Bally, Belstaff and Versace.

In my years as a consultant I’ve worked for a lot of major brands across industries like beauty, kidswear, sports, pet food, grocery, homeware, jewellery…

  • I worked on a couple of major online grocery implementations during my time at Salesforce - for Iceland and Continente. I worked on these projects from discovery through to trading, advising their teams on how best to use Commerce Cloud for their grocery businesses.

We can all learn a lot from the way supermarkets trade and how they implement technology.

  • I spent 6 years working at Salesforce as a Functional Architect. With me you can benefit from Salesforce experience from the inside, in your business. Not only can I advise you on their technology, but I can also help you get the most out of your Salesforce relationship & partners.

I am also a Certified Salesforce Administrator.

If you don’t use Salesforce my experience transfers across to competing technologies.

  • Headless, Composable, API-led… Call it what you like. The tech-du-jours and current darling of e-commerce. I’ve advised on a number headless projects - I’ve seen some go great and others go wrong.

Through it all, I learnt that the most important thing to identify is why you want to go headless and whether your business can really cope with it. I can help you figure that out.

  • I became active in Web3 in 2022. Some call that late to the party, others would still consider it early. I’m particularly interested in how we operate commerce in the Web3 space and what it can look like for retailers.

I’m a scholar of the SheFi 12-week Web3 education program and thanks to Maggie and my own studying know plenty about crypto, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs.

If you want to figure out how your brand can experiment in Web3, or you just want to know what Web3 is, I can help you.

  • I’m a Certified SAFe5 Agilist - which means I’ve actually studied the Lean-Agile principles and know how to operate Agile at scale.

If you’re a big business using a particular methodology or practice for your projects, I can fit right in.

If you’re a smaller business and have no idea what I’m talking about, this just means I can help you run your projects in a really effective way.
